Vertex +2.5 Reading Glasses

These Gunnar Vertex reading glasses provide +2.50 magnification for close-up tasks. The Grey Crystal nylon frame weighs 22 grams and measures 136 mm wide with 54 mm lenses, a 16 mm bridge and 135 mm temples. Designed for narrow or Asian-fit faces, they suit anyone needing clear vision at reading distance.

65% Blue Light Blocking and UV Protection

The amber-tinted lenses filter 65% of blue light and block 100% of UV radiation. A dual-sided anti-reflective coating reduces glare from screens and overhead lighting. This combination helps lower eye strain during long sessions at a desk or on a device.

Upgrade from Basic Readers

Standard drugstore readers lack blue-light filtration and anti-reflective coatings, so they do not address digital eye fatigue. The Vertex adds patented lens technology, multi-barrel hinges and a microfiber pouch with cleaning cloth. The jump is worth it for daily screen users who want durability and visual comfort.

Questions about this item

Will the 54 mm lens width and 16 mm nose bridge fit alongside my existing frames for daily rotation?

The 54 mm lens width, 16 mm bridge, 136 mm frame width and 135 mm temples suit narrow faces; at 22 grams they sit lightly beside other eyewear.

How do I verify the 65% blue-light and 100% UV filtering are active after I start wearing them?

The amber tint and dual-sided anti-reflective coating are visible proof; reduced screen glare and eye strain during extended reading confirm the 65% blue-light and 100% UV protection.

Does the box include the microfiber pouch and cleaning cloth, or must I buy them separately?

Both a microfiber pouch and a microfiber cleaning cloth are included; no separate purchase is needed for those accessories.
