What the RevoRing Swift Adapter Is

The H&Y RevoRing Swift is a magnetic variable adapter that covers lens threads from 82 to 95 millimetres. It uses self-retracting blades with overlapping threaded ends to eliminate light leaks. The Swift System (A) module accepts magnetic (B) modules such as a bridge ring, drop-in filter rack or matte box. It is aimed at photographers who want one adapter for multiple filter formats.

The Deciding Specification

This 82-95mm adapter cannot accept a Magnetic VND filter, Magnetic Drop-in Rack or Clip-on filters directly. You must add an 82-95mm Magnetic Bridge Ring before any of those modules will attach. If your workflow relies on clip-on or drop-in filters without an extra bridge ring, this model will not meet that need.

How It Fits Into a Kit

The adapter threads onto the lens front and provides a magnetic platform for Swift (B) modules. A Magnetic Bridge Ring unlocks compatibility with square filter holders, matte boxes and collapsible hoods.
