DLC soundtrack for rhythm players

This downloadable add-on delivers the remastered original soundtrack from DJMAX Portable BLACK SQUARE to owners of DJMAX RESPECT V on PC. It supplies 33 tracks in both MP3 and WAV formats across two discs, covering the standard versions and extended mixes composed by artists such as BJJ, ND Lee and Planetboom. The content is locked to Steam and activates only in the permitted regions listed in the specifications. A Steam account and the base game are required before this DLC can be used.

Silent background audio with tiny footprint

The files occupy roughly 230 MB of storage and place no measurable load on the CPU, GPU or cooling system during playback. No additional power draw or fan noise is introduced beyond what the host system already produces while running the main title. Because the package is pure audio data, thermal behaviour and acoustics remain identical to idle desktop operation.

Two-format library ready for offline listening

Steam delivers the soundtrack as separate MP3 and WAV folders, so buyers can copy the lossless WAV files to a portable player or keep the compressed MP3s for everyday use without re-encoding. The DRM-free audio files remain accessible after the initial Steam activation, letting users build personal playlists or import tracks into DJ software independently of the game client.

How do I install the BLACK SQUARE Soundtrack DLC on Steam for DJMAX RESPECT V?

Redeem the Steam code in your client, ensure DJMAX RESPECT V base game is installed, then the 230 MB soundtrack downloads automatically to the game folder.

Will I need to re-download or update the 33 mp3 and Wav tracks later?

No, the 33 remastered tracks are delivered as final files; Steam only re-downloads if you verify integrity or delete the local soundtrack folder.

What is the first limitation I hit when activating this DLC in a restricted region?

Activation fails immediately if your Steam account country is on the blocked list of 27 regions including RU, CN, and KR.
