What the game is and who it is for

Guardians of the Sanctree is a 2D hand-drawn cooperative action adventure where players become avian commanders building automated production lines and defences on a massive world tree. It suits groups who enjoy base-building, tower defence survival and resource automation together. Solo players wanting a pure narrative adventure or competitive multiplayer will not find those modes here.

Behaviour under sustained play

The game runs on Windows 10 and requires a Steam account for activation. Minimum hardware calls for an Intel Core i5-6500 or equivalent, 12 GB RAM and a GTX 1060 6G or RX 5500XT graphics card with DirectX 11 support. Long sessions of base expansion and insect waves will stress CPU and GPU steadily rather than in short bursts.

Installation and common issues

Delivery is a digital Steam code redeemed in the client; no physical media arrives. Activation is blocked in several listed countries, so buyers in those regions cannot register the title. A stable internet connection is required for the initial download and for co-op sessions, and the Steam client must remain online to launch the game.
