What you get

SNOW BROS. 2 SPECIAL is a modern remake of the 1994 arcade classic, delivered as a Steam PC download code. The package includes the original game plus updated graphics, four playable protagonists and a new Monster Challenge mode where you control enemy characters. Published by GRAVITY and developed by CRT GAMES, it releases on 9 April 2025.

Who this suits

Players who want a light-hearted action game that supports up to four-player multiplayer will find several modes including Original, Survival, Time Attack and Sky Run. The title is blocked in a long list of countries including RU, UA, CN and others, so buyers in those regions cannot activate the code. A Steam account and a 64-bit Windows 10 system are mandatory.

Installing and common issues

Activation is done through the Steam client by entering the supplied code; no physical media is involved. The minimum specification calls for a dual-core processor above 2 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and a graphics card with 2 GB of video memory. The most frequent problem is attempting redemption from a blocked country, which Steam will refuse.
