WiFi Gateway with Three Sensors

This kit includes a WiFi gateway and three H5100 sensors for remote temperature and humidity monitoring. You can place the sensors around your home, greenhouse or other spaces and view readings through the Govee Home App. The system supports pairing up to 10 sensors in total for wider coverage. It is designed for indoor use with a contemporary black finish.

Simple Surface Mount Setup

The gateway plugs into a 120 volt outlet and the sensors are surface mounted using the included hardware. Each sensor runs on AAA batteries that last roughly 4 months before needing replacement. The app guides you through pairing each sensor to the gateway step by step. Ensure the gateway stays within Bluetooth range of every sensor during initial setup to avoid connection failures.

Check Power and App Compatibility

Verify you have an accessible 120 volt socket for the gateway and a smartphone compatible with the Govee Home App. The sensors measure temperature within a ±0.54/±0.3 range and humidity from 0% to 99% RH. You will need AAA batteries for the three sensors to begin monitoring immediately. Confirm the intended locations have sufficient Bluetooth signal reach back to the gateway.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the H5100 gateway is correctly monitoring temperature and humidity after setup?

Open the Govee Home App to view live readings; each sensor reports temperature within ±0.54/±0.3 and humidity from 0 to 99%RH, and you will receive an instant phone notification if values leave your preset ranges.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The pack includes one WiFi gateway and three H5100 sensors with AAA batteries installed; no additional items are required to start monitoring.

Which sensor model should I choose if I want to expand beyond the three included units?

Only the H5100 sensor is supported for adding more units; you can pair up to 10 H5100 sensors to a single gateway via the app.
