62mm Pro-Mist Black 1/4 Filter

The Haida NanoPro Pro-Mist Black 1/4 is a 62mm diffusion filter that reduces highlights and lowers overall contrast for a soft, pastel-like quality of light. It suits photographers and videographers who want a romantic, cinematic look straight from the camera without heavy post-processing.

Upgrade from uncoated diffusion filters

This filter replaces basic mist or diffusion glass that produces internal ghosting and reflections, especially in dim scenes. The jump is worth it when you need cleaner highlights, reduced flare and a nano coating that resists water and oil for easier cleaning.

Threads onto 62mm lens fronts

The low-profile frame threads directly onto any 62mm lens and remains threaded for stacking additional filters, hoods or caps. Vignetting can appear on ultra-wide focal lengths, so test your widest setting before critical work.

Questions about this item

What thread size does the 62mm filter need on my lens?

The filter mounts on any lens with a 62 mm front thread, which matches the diameter printed on the barrel.

How do I fit the filter without cross-threading the low-profile frame?

Align the threads carefully, turn clockwise until it seats evenly, then give a gentle final twist — forcing it can jam the slim frame.

How should I clean the nano-coated glass when it gets fingerprints?

Blow off dust, then wipe with a microfibre cloth and a drop of lens fluid; the nano coating beads water and oil for easier cleaning.
