67-77mm Magnetic Step-Up Adapter

The Haida magnetic step-up adapter connects a 67mm lens thread to 77mm filters and accessories from the Haida magnetic series. It threads onto the lens front and uses a magnetic outer ring for quick filter changes without unscrewing. The design aims to maintain optical alignment and prevent light leaks. It suits photographers who want to use larger magnetic filters on smaller-diameter lenses.

Magnetic filter attachment limits

The adapter only works with Haida magnetic-series filters that match the 77mm outer diameter. Standard threaded 77mm filters cannot attach magnetically and would need a different adapter. The magnetic hold is designed for normal shooting; heavy filter stacks or strong vibration may reduce security. No electronic communication passes through the ring, so lens metadata and autofocus operate independently of the adapter.

Check lens thread and filter system

Verify that your lens has a 67mm front thread before ordering. Confirm you own or plan to buy Haida magnetic filters in the 77mm size, because other magnetic systems are not compatible. Ensure the combined thickness of the adapter and filter does not vignette on your widest focal length. The adapter adds physical length to the lens front, so check clearance for lens caps and hoods.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 67-77mm ring or a different step-up size?

Choose this ring only when your lens has a 67mm front thread and you want to use 77mm magnetic filters; any other lens or filter diameter needs a different adapter.

How does the magnetic design change filter changes in the field?

The magnetic face lets you snap Haida 77mm filters on and off in seconds instead of threading them, so you can swap ND, CPL or mist filters without missing a shot.

Does the 77mm magnetic mount limit which filters I can use?

It accepts any Haida 77mm magnetic-series filter; non-magnetic 77mm screw-in filters or other brands' magnetic systems will not attach.
