Classroom bulk pack

The Halasal HGM2GB pack supplies 20 USB 2.0 flash drives, each offering 2 GB of storage for documents, presentations and audio files. The colour-coded casings help teachers and students sort projects or assign drives to individuals. They connect via a standard Type A plug and work with Windows Vista, XP and macOS. The lightweight design makes them easy to hand out and carry in a pocket or bag.

Capacity and headroom

Each drive holds up to 2 GB, enough for hundreds of text files or a handful of slide decks and PDFs. Sequential reads reach up to 18 MB/s and writes up to 8 MB/s, so small transfers finish quickly. Larger media libraries or high-resolution video will exceed the available space and the USB 2.0 interface limits sustained throughput. The pack is intended for light, everyday file shuffling rather than heavy workloads.

Build integration

No external power or software is required; simply insert the Type A connector into any compatible port. The drives are recognised automatically by the operating systems listed, freeing up no internal slots or drive bays. Their small footprint means they sit alongside other peripherals without blocking adjacent ports. The 20-unit quantity covers a typical class or workgroup in a single purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the Halasal HGM2GB USB 2.0 Type A connector work with the USB ports on my older Windows Vista desktop?

Yes, the drives are specified as compatible with Windows Vista and use the standard USB 2.0 Type A interface found on older PCs.

How can I verify that each of the 20 drives achieves the listed 18 MB/s read and 8 MB/s write speeds after setup?

Copy a large file to and from each drive while watching the transfer rate in Windows File Explorer or a benchmark tool; speeds should approach the rated figures.

Does the 20-pack box contain only the 20 colourful Halasal HGM2GB flash drives, or are lanyards or caps included?

The pack supplies 20 USB 2.0 flash drives in four colours; no extra accessories such as lanyards or caps are mentioned.
