Converts SDI video to HDMI up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz with a buffered loop output and locking connector
The Hall Research SC-SDI2HD converts SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signals to HDMI for display on any TV or monitor with an HDMI input. It requires no user settings and operates as a plug-n-play device. A buffered SDI loop output preserves the original signal for connection to a local SDI display. The unit uses a locking HDMI connector for a secure link.
The converter handles resolutions up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz, covering standard HD and 3G-SDI workflows. It automatically detects the input format without manual configuration. Signals beyond 1080p60 are not supported, so 4K or higher frame-rate sources will not pass through. The loop output maintains the incoming SDI signal without degradation for downstream use.
The rugged, compact enclosure is designed for reliable operation in professional environments. No moving parts are present, so the unit runs silently. Power consumption is low enough for typical USB or wall adapters used with small media converters. The locking HDMI connector ensures the cable stays seated during extended sessions.

The plug-n-play design automatically detects SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI and lights the HDMI output; a stable 1920x1080 60 Hz picture on your HDMI display confirms correct operation.
The converter uses a locking HDMI connector and requires external power; cables and power supply are not included and must be sourced separately.
