Installation and common issues

The fixture mounts with two fasteners and allows conduit or Romex entry at either end for straightforward wiring. Optional plug-in connectors enable continuous runs, but alignment must be precise to avoid gaps. Smooth dimming down to 5 % works with standard dimmers, yet incompatible dimmers can cause flicker. The integrated switch is convenient but adds a visible control on the housing.

Practical limits of 120 V direct-drive

Direct 120 V connection simplifies installation but ties the fixture to mains voltage, so it cannot be used on low-voltage circuits. Dimming performance depends entirely on the wall dimmer quality, and not all models achieve the stated 5 % floor. Linking multiple units increases total load on a single circuit, which may trip breakers if the circuit is already heavily loaded. The fixed 2700 K colour temperature cannot be adjusted for cooler or warmer ambience.
