Large-batch deep fryer

The Hamilton Beach 35042 holds 21 cups or five litres of oil and fries up to 13 cups of food at once in a chrome-plated basket. It is built for households that regularly cook for a crowd and want a single appliance to handle the volume.

Immersed heating under load

The 1800 watt immersed element recovers temperature quickly after a full basket is lowered, keeping oil at the set point through repeated batches. A ready light signals when the oil reaches the selected temperature, and the lid window lets you monitor browning without opening the cover.

Counter-top footprint limits

The unit measures 10.25 inches high, 15.50 inches wide and 24.50 inches deep, so it needs a stable stretch of work surface near an outlet. The magnetic breakaway cord detaches if pulled, but the fryer still requires enough clearance to prevent accidental tipping during use.
