Portable Misting Fan for Outdoor Cooling

The HandFan HF318 is a handheld misting fan designed for personal cooling during outdoor activities such as beach trips, concerts, or travel. Weighing 0.188 kg with a compact 1.57"D x 4.13"W x 8.07"H form factor, it runs on an included rechargeable battery charged via USB. Three speed settings and a 2.0 ml/min ultra-fine mist output provide adjustable relief without soaking skin or makeup.

Battery Runtime and Mist Capacity Limits

Continuous operation ranges from 3 to 11 hours depending on the selected fan speed, while the 34 ml water tank supports 25 to 30 minutes of misting before a refill is required. The 4 W motor spins at 4,200 rpm to deliver a maximum air velocity of 13.4 ft/s, yet airflow is rated at only 2 cubic centimeters per minute. Noise stays near 20 decibels, and button controls handle all functions without a remote.

Upgrade from Basic Hand Fans

This unit replaces single-speed handheld fans that lack misting, adding evaporative cooling for hot, dry conditions where moving air alone is insufficient. The jump is worth it for users who need hours of cordless operation and a fine spray that keeps glasses and cosmetics dry. Buyers who want all-day misting without refilling the tank or who require higher airflow for larger spaces should look elsewhere.
