40L Tactical Assault Pack

The Hannibal Tactical Tbp-01 is a 40-litre MOLLE assault pack built from water-resistant high-density polyester with a PVC coating. It suits operators, hikers and emergency planners who need a single bag for three-day missions, bug-out scenarios or extended range sessions. The unisex black design carries a USA flag patch and 360-degree locking D-rings for external gear attachment.

Installation and common issues

Loading the pack is straightforward: two main compartments, two front pockets and a dedicated rear hydration sleeve all open via dual-pull zippers, while one main compartment unzips fully like a suitcase for flat packing. The padded laptop sleeve accepts 13.3 to 15.6 inch devices. Users sometimes over-tighten the Y-strap buckles, which can distort the front panel; the removable Y-straps also double as shoe ties but must be re-seated correctly to keep the load stable.

Pre-purchase checklist

Verify that a 40-litre capacity matches your mission profile — smaller day trips may find the pack bulky. Confirm your hydration bladder does not exceed 3.5 litres, as the rear pocket is sized for that maximum. Ensure your torso fits the adjustable shoulder straps and expanding waist belt, and check that the 30.48 by 33.02 by 50.8 centimetre external dimensions clear any vehicle rack or locker you plan to use.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 40L main compartment is holding its shape after I load it?

The pack should stand upright on its own when fully packed; the elastic laptop strap inside the large compartment keeps contents from shifting and the padded back panel stays flat against your back.

What accessories come with the Tbp-01 and what must I purchase separately?

The backpack includes a USA flag patch, 360° rotation D-rings, Y-straps with buckles, and padded shoulder straps with waist belt; a 3L or 3.5L hydration bladder and any MOLLE pouches are sold separately.

Which capacity version of the Hannibal Tactical assault pack should I choose?

This model is offered in a single 40L size measuring 30.48 x 33.02 x 50.8 cm, so there are no alternative capacities to select from.
