Desk Clock Radio for Bedroom Use

The HANNLOMAX HX-137CR is a digital alarm clock radio with a 0.9 inch blue LED display in a white finish. It receives AM and FM stations using PLL tuning and stores presets for quick access. Dual independent alarms let two people wake at different times to either a buzzer or the radio. A sleep timer and nine-minute snooze function are built in.

Check Power and Antenna Needs Before Buying

This unit runs on AC power only and requires a mains outlet at the bedside. Batteries are not included for the memory backup feature, so settings may be lost during a power cut unless you supply your own backup cells. An external FM antenna wire is attached; verify you have space to position it for clear reception.

Included Functions Replace Separate Timer and Radio

The integrated sleep timer lets you fall asleep to radio playback without leaving it on all night. Dual alarms remove the need for a second clock when partners keep different schedules. Preset station memory and electronic volume control combine the functions of a small tabletop radio and a programmable timer in one compact device.

Questions about this item

Does the HX-137CR include batteries for the memory backup or must they be purchased separately?

The memory backup requires batteries that are not included, so they must be bought separately. The clock itself runs on AC power only.

How do the dual alarms differ so I know which version suits two people?

Both alarms are built into the single unit and operate independently; each can wake to the buzzer or the radio, so two sleepers share one clock.

What does the .9 inch LED figure mean for readability across a bedroom?

The .9 inch blue LED digits are large enough to be read clearly from across a typical bedroom without glasses.
