Right-Angle USB-C Cable for Tight Spaces

The HANNORD USB-C to USB-C cable measures 3.3 ft and carries a right-angle connector on one end so the lead runs parallel to the device instead of jutting out. It supports USB4 speeds of 40Gbps, delivers up to 240W under PD 3.1, and drives an 8K display at 60Hz or dual 4K at 60Hz when the host supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts are fully compatible.

Creators and Power Users Who Need One Cable

Video editors, developers and travellers who want a single lead for 240W laptop charging, 40Gbps data transfers and 8K@60Hz external monitors will benefit. Buyers whose devices only support USB 2.0 or 3.2 Gen 1 will not reach the advertised 40Gbps or 8K video rates. Anyone needing a straight connector for recessed ports or a longer run for desktop routing should look at a different cable.

Simple Plug-In With One Common Snag

Both ends are male USB-C so installation is a direct connection — no drivers or adapters required. The 90-degree plug can face the wrong way if the port orientation is opposite to the cable bend, forcing the lead to loop awkwardly. Ensure the host and peripheral ports accept the angled head before relying on it for a permanent desk setup.

Questions about this item

Do both of my devices need USB-C ports for this cable to work?

Yes, this cable has male USB-C connectors on both ends, so each device must provide a USB-C port.

Will this 40Gbps cable still function if I plug it into my older Thunderbolt 3 dock?

It is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and will operate at up to 40Gbps data, 240W charging and 8K@60Hz video on that dock.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 240W charging after I connect it?

Check the power reading on your laptop or charger; it should show up to 48V at 5A when both ends support PD 3.1.
