ShockDrop Protection for iPhone 5

The Hard Candy ShockDrop case is built for iPhone 5 owners who want rugged daily protection without a bulky frame. It wraps the handset in a layered silicone shell that absorbs impact at every corner. The red finish adds visibility while the textured surface prevents accidental slips during one-handed use.

10 mm Corner Cushioning

The decisive specification is the 10 mm of silicon shock absorption at each corner, tapering to a 3.5 mm body profile. This geometry dissipates drop energy before it reaches the phone’s glass and aluminium frame. Buyers who need a wallet folio, a built-in kickstand or waterproof sealing will not find those features here.

Snap-On Fit With Port Covers

Installation is a simple snap-on action; the semi-rigid screen protector aligns automatically with the display. Rip-proof port covers stay seated during repeated cable insertion, eliminating the common failure point where thin silicone tabs tear away. The molded-in volume indicators remain legible after months of pocket carry.

Questions about this item

How much corner protection does the 10 mm silicone layer actually give my iPhone 5?

The four corners have 10 mm of silicon to absorb impact, while the rest of the case body tapers to 3.5 mm for overall shock protection.

What does the semi-rigid screen protector cover and how tough is it?

A semi-rigid protector is built into the case to shield the display from knocks, rocks, keys and similar abuse.

Will the rip-proof port covers stay in place and fit the iPhone 5 openings?

The covers are thick so they stick, fit the ports precisely and are designed not to rip during daily use.
