Precision Fit for SanDisk Extreme SSD

This hard case is engineered exclusively for SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD models in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB capacities, including the SDSSDE61-G25 generation. It is not compatible with the Extreme Pro line, so buyers with that model must look elsewhere. The case ships empty and is intended for professionals and commuters who need to protect a single drive during daily transport.

Effortless Drop-In Installation

Place the SSD into the moulded cavity, pull the elastic strap across the drive and zip the lid closed; no tools or adapters are required. The snug interior leaves almost no room for movement, so forcing a thicker drive or adding bulky cables can prevent the lid from sealing. If the strap feels loose, the drive is likely the wrong model or oriented incorrectly.

Verify Drive Model Before Ordering

Confirm that your drive carries the "Extreme" badge and not the "Extreme Pro" label, because the internal dimensions differ. Check the capacity marking — 500GB through 8TB are supported — and ensure you do not need space for a separate power brick, as the case only accommodates the SSD and a short cable.

Questions about this item

The elastic fixing strap should hold the drive firmly without sliding, and the lid must close flush with no gap, showing the precision-moulded interior matches your SSD exactly.

What is included in the package and what must I supply myself?

Only the hard EVA case is included; the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, USB-C cable and any other accessories are sold separately.

Which SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD capacities does the GW1028 case support?

It fits the 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB Extreme models, including the SDSSDE61-G25 revision, but not the Extreme Pro line.
