Classic Handheld Memory Game

The Simon Classic E9383 is a handheld electronic game that challenges players to repeat increasingly complex sequences of flashing lights and sounds. It is designed for solo play or group fun and is suitable for ages eight and up. The unit arrives new and includes the game device plus instructions.

Check Power and Space Before Buying

The game requires three AA and three AAA alkaline batteries to operate; confirm you have these on hand as they are not rechargeable. Verify the product dimensions of 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D fit your available storage or play area. The safety warning notes small parts, so it is not for children under three years old.

Steady Performance During Extended Play

The console runs on standard alkaline cells, delivering consistent light and sound output throughout long sessions without thermal throttling. Button response remains reliable as sequences grow longer and faster across higher levels. There is no active cooling, so the unit stays silent and maintains stable operation until battery voltage eventually drops.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the box and do I need to buy batteries separately?

The box contains the Simon game unit and instructions; three AA and three AAA alkaline batteries are included so nothing extra is required.

The specifications list both AA and AAA batteries — which version should I choose?

The unit requires both types simultaneously, three of each, so there is no separate version to select.

The headline mentions "digital" display — what does that mean when I am actually playing?

The four coloured pads light up in sequences and you repeat them by pressing the buttons in the same order.
