Telescoping pole for side-mount consoles

The Havis C-HDM-204 is an 8.5 in heavy-duty pole that extends to 13.25 in. It bolts to C-series 6 in high consoles and similar units, with drilling sometimes required. Precision-machined aluminium clamp collar and steel poles with PVC bushings provide rigid support for notebook, keyboard and docking station mounts.

Installers needing adjustable reach

Suits technicians who want a single pole that telescopes to the exact working height and then locks with the adjustable stop collar. Not intended for top-mount or floor-mount installations, nor for consoles that cannot accept a side-mounted 8.5 in pole.

8.5 in collapsed height with 13.25 in full extension

The pole ships at 8.5 in and telescopes out to 13.25 in, giving the decisive range for positioning a mounted device. Verify that your console accepts a side-mounted pole of this collapsed length before ordering.

Questions about this item

Which length should I choose between the 8.5 in and 13.25 in measurements?

The pole is 8.5 in when collapsed and extends to 13.25 in; you do not choose between them — the single unit provides the full range.

How far will the pole actually reach when installed in a vehicle console?

Mounted on a C-series 6 in console, the pole extends from the side and telescopes out to 13.25 in, placing a notebook, keyboard or docking station within that reach.

What mounting standard does the side-mount collar use and what consoles does it fit?

The precision-machined aluminum clamp collar bolts directly to Havis C-series 6 in high consoles; other consoles can be used if you drill matching holes.
