The Hawke Sport Optics Metal Flip Up Ocular Lens Cap is a protective accessory made from top-grade aluminium. It shields the ocular lens on Vantage model riflescopes from the 2015 collection onwards against dust, dirt and potential damage. The cap flips up with one hand for quick lens access and can be adjusted to open in any direction. It is not compatible with Frontier 30 range or XB/XB1 crossbow scopes.

Compatibility and coverage

This cap fits Vantage model riflescopes released from 2015 onwards, providing a secure metal barrier over the eyepiece when closed. The flip-up mechanism stays out of the optical path during use and snaps back down to protect the glass when the scope is stowed. Buyers with Frontier 30 scopes or XB/XB1 crossbow models cannot use this cap, as the mounting system differs on those ranges.

Mechanical interface limits

The cap attaches directly to the riflescope's ocular bell using the existing threads on compatible Vantage models. No tools are required for installation, and the adjustable hinge allows the user to set the opening direction to suit their shooting position. Because the design relies on the specific thread pattern of post-2015 Vantage scopes, it cannot be adapted to other Hawke ranges or third-party optics without matching threads.
