1″ PVC Bulkhead Fitting
The Hayward BFAS1010TES is a grey PVC bulkhead fitting with a one-inch FNPT connection on each side. It installs through a one-and-seven-eighths-inch hole in tank walls up to one-point-zero-eight inches thick. The EPDM gasket seals against fluids at temperatures between forty and one-hundred-forty degrees Fahrenheit.
Replaces worn tank fittings
This fitting replaces a cracked or leaking bulkhead on a pool, spa or water-feature tank. The upgrade is worth it when the existing gasket has hardened or the PVC body shows stress fractures. A new EPDM seal restores the original one-hundred-fifty psi pressure rating without changing pipework.
Fits standard FNPT plumbing
The female threads accept any one-inch male NPT nipple or adapter, so the fitting integrates with existing PVC or CPVC pipe runs. No special tools are required beyond a hole saw for the one-and-seven-eighths-inch opening. The compact two-and-seven-eighths-inch body length leaves clearance inside tight equipment pads.
