Replaces worn swing or spring check valves

Upgrading is worthwhile when an existing valve leaks by, chatters, or restricts flow in a vertical line. The true union ends allow removal without cutting pipe, saving labour on future service. A cracking pressure of 3 psi opens the ball smoothly while the full-flow design delivers 40 gpm with minimal head loss. It is not rated for steam service.
