Compact server inverter cooling fan

The Haywards 40×40×28 mm fan is built for server inverter units that demand high airflow in a tight footprint. It runs on 12 V and draws 2.6 W while spinning up to 18000 RPM to move 19.4 CFM through computer cases and similar enclosures.

Double ball bearing and PWM control

A two ball bearing design supports a rated life of 70000 hours under continuous operation. The four-wire interface adds PWM intelligent temperature control and speed measurement so the fan adjusts automatically to thermal load.

Suited for high-density server cooling

Installers needing maximum airflow per millimetre will benefit from the 54 dB output and 7.0-13.4 V operating range. Buyers who want silent operation or a larger frame size should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How long before the double ball bearing in this 40×40×28 mm fan needs replacement?

The bearing is rated for 70000 hours of operation before replacement is typically required.

What thermal limit appears first when this 12 V fan runs continuously at 18000 RPM?

The 12 W power draw and 54 dB noise level become the dominant constraints during sustained high-speed use.

How much heat and noise does this 2.6 W server inverter cooling fan produce all day?

It draws up to 12 W, spins at 18000 RPM and emits 54 dB, so expect noticeable airflow noise and warm exhaust after hours of continuous running.
