A 40 mm 12 V DC fan with 1.1 W draw, 18000 RPM speed, 54 dB noise and 70000-hour life
This accessory is designed for Sunon maglev cooling fans KDE1204PFV1 4010 that run at 12 V and draw 1.1 W. It suits builders who need a direct replacement switch for that specific 40 mm three-wire model. Buyers who want a different voltage, pin count or fan diameter cannot use this part.
The bundled switch converts the fan’s standard three-wire connection into a four-wire PWM interface with intelligent temperature control and speed measurement. That change adds automatic speed regulation based on thermal load and lets the system monitor actual RPM. Without the switch the fan runs at fixed speed and offers no feedback signal.
The housing uses a plastic heatsink material and a double ball bearing rated for 70000 hours at up to 18000 RPM±10 %. The 40×40×28 mm frame fits standard 40 mm mounting holes and the 4-pin power interface plugs straight into compatible headers. Operating voltage spans 7.0-13.4 V and the unit produces 54 dB at full speed with 19.4 CFM airflow.
