The Heagstat STN701W is a wall-mounted programmable thermostat sold in a 12-unit pack. It controls single-stage 1 Heat/1 Cool conventional systems using 24 V AC power. A C-wire is mandatory and the unit does not operate on batteries. The white housing measures .98 in deep by 4.72 in wide by 3.86 in high.
Wiring and network requirements
Compatible terminals are RH, RC, W, Y, G and C; terminals such as W2, Y2, O/B, E, L, AUX and others are not supported. The thermostat connects only to 2.4 GHz WiFi networks and cannot join 5 GHz bands. Through the companion app users can adjust temperature remotely, create 7-day schedules and monitor system status in real time.
