The lock fits standard wooden doors and works on both left-hand and right-hand swings without extra drilling. Verify that your door thickness falls within the manufacturer’s adjustable range and that the existing bore holes match the supplied template. A Phillips screwdriver is the only tool required for installation.

Battery Life and Emergency Power

Four AA cells power the unit for up to one year under normal use and the lock sounds a low-battery warning when replacement is needed.
