HearClear Size 312 Hearing Aid Batteries

HearClear Size 312 zinc-air batteries deliver 1.45V power for hearing aids requiring this specific size. Each pack contains twelve cells arranged in two standard dial packs of six. The brown tab identifies the correct size for compatible devices. These batteries suit users who need a reliable, long-lasting power source for daily hearing aid use.

Shelf life and leakage protection

The manufacturer states a shelf life of approximately three to four years, giving users confidence in stocking spares. A patented anti-leakage design helps protect the hearing aid from damage caused by battery failure. Fresh stock arrives within thirty days of manufacture, ensuring maximum capacity when opened. This combination supports consistent performance over extended storage periods.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HearClear size 312 batteries and what step do people often miss?

Remove the brown tab, wait about one minute for air to activate the zinc-air cell, then insert the battery with the flat positive side facing up; skipping the wait shortens runtime.

What maintenance or replacement will these 12 cells need later?

Each cell is single-use; when the hearing aid signals low power, replace the depleted battery with a fresh one from the pack — no recharging or upkeep is possible.

What limit appears first during continuous use of these 1.45V zinc-air batteries?

The brown-tab 312 cells deliver high power until the zinc electrode is consumed, then voltage drops sharply — that sudden end-of-life is the first limit you will notice.
