Extra-small silicone stretch lids 8 pack

These clear, food-grade silicone lids fit container openings from 1.9 inches to 2.3 inches. The pack contains eight reusable covers designed for small yogurt jars, milk bottles and cans. They create an airtight seal that keeps leftovers and non-carbonated drinks fresh. Safe for dishwasher, microwave and freezer use.

Sustained sealing under temperature cycling

The thick, tear-resistant silicone maintains its elasticity after repeated heating and cooling cycles. It resists permanent deformation when left stretched over a jar in the freezer or washed at high dishwasher temperatures. The material does not absorb odours or stains from prolonged food contact. Adsorption strength stays consistent so the lid remains seated during transport.

5 cm nominal mouth size

The lids are manufactured for a 5 cm opening, with an actual diameter of 4.8 cm and a maximum stretch length of 8.3 cm. Measure your container rim before ordering; the seal only works within the stated 1.9 to 2.3 inch range. Containers outside this diameter will not seal reliably.

Questions about this item

Will these 4.8 cm diameter lids stay sealed on a jar after repeated dishwasher cycles?

The food-grade silicone is dishwasher safe and designed to maintain its elasticity and airtight seal over long-term use.

What container sizes do I need to already own for the 8-pack to be useful?

They fit openings from 1.9 to 2.3 inches (about 4.8 cm diameter), so you need small jars, bottles or cans within that range.

Can I stretch these over the rim of an older glass milk bottle that has a slightly chipped edge?

The thick, tear-resistant silicone accommodates slight variations and grips firmly, but a smooth rim gives the most reliable seal.
