Large-print RGB keyboard

The HeengYanson KB-001 is a full-size wired keyboard with oversized key legends and 7-colour RGB backlighting. It connects by USB and works immediately on Windows 2000 through Windows 10 and Raspberry Pi 3 or 4 without driver installation. An integrated wrist rest and 7-degree typing angle support long sessions at a desk.

Membrane switch thermals

Membrane key switches produce minimal heat and no audible click, so the keyboard runs silently and stays cool during extended typing or gaming. The 4.9 ft cable draws power directly from the USB port, requiring no external supply. Low-profile keys keep the profile slim at 1 inch thick.

4x larger key legends

Printed characters are four times the size of standard fonts, making every key legible for users with reduced vision. Three brightness levels and seven colour choices let you match lighting to ambient conditions. Mac OS compatibility is limited because multimedia keys may not function fully.

Questions about this item

How do I install the KB-001 and what step is often missed?

Plug the USB cable into the computer; the keyboard works in about 10 seconds with no driver needed, but the kickstand legs must be flipped out to set the 7° typing angle.

What part of the KB-001 will need replacement first?

The membrane key switches are rated for millions of presses, yet the printed legends on the oversize keycaps can wear off after heavy daily use.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the KB-001?

The membrane switches stay quiet, but sustained rapid keystrokes can feel mushy compared with mechanical switches, and the fixed 4.9 ft cable limits desk placement.
