Hefty 2.5 Gallon Jumbo Bags

This pack contains twelve Hefty slider bags, each offering a 2.5 gallon capacity. They are made from clear, BPA-free plastic and feature a write-on label for quick identification. The bags are designed for storing bulk food, clothing, shoes, and various household items.

Households needing bulk organisation

These jumbo bags suit families storing large loaves, party portions, or seasonal clothing. They also help travellers organise luggage without packing cubes. Buyers who need microwave-safe containers or smaller portion sizes should look at different products.

MaxLock slider track seal

The MaxLock track creates an extra-strong seal that clicks audibly when fully closed. This single sliding motion secures contents and helps prevent accidental spills during storage or transport. The click confirms the bag is properly locked.

Questions about this item

Will the slider mechanism wear out after repeated opening and closing?

The slider uses a MaxLock track that clicks when fully closed, confirming a secure seal each time and reducing mechanical stress on the closure.

What stops the bag from holding liquids or heavy items without leaking?

The 2.5 gallon capacity and plastic construction are designed for dry bulk storage; the slider seal is not rated for liquid containment or heavy liquid loads.

Do the bags become brittle or deform if left in a hot car or near a heater?

The bags are freezer safe but not microwave safe, indicating the plastic is formulated for cold temperatures rather than sustained heat exposure.
