Hefty Ultra Strong 30 gal Trash Bags, 35% Recovered Materials, 20 Count

Hefty Ultra Strong 30 Gallon Trash Bags

These 30 gallon drawstring bags contain 35% recovered materials, including 10% coastal plastic and 25% reclaimed plastic. They are designed for household cleanup jobs requiring large capacity and eco-friendly construction. The black bags feature a Seaside Breeze scent for continuous odor control. Each pack provides 20 bags for kitchen, yard, or garage use.

Installation and Common Issues

Simply pull a bag from the box, open it, and fit it over a standard 30 gallon can; the drawstring cinches tight for secure closure. Problems arise if sharp objects puncture the film or if the bag is overfilled beyond the drawstring's ability to lift the load. The stretchy flex strength resists tears during normal handling, but dragging a loaded bag across rough surfaces can cause leaks.

35% Recovered Material Composition

The defining specification is the 35% recovered content, split between 10% coastal plastic collected within 30 miles of the ocean and 25% reclaimed production scrap. This composition delivers the same strength as standard Hefty bags while reducing virgin plastic use. Buyers who need a bag without recycled content or who require a different capacity should look elsewhere.
