Braided PET sleeving 100 ft reel

This expandable braided sleeving comes on a 100 ft reel in black polyester. It is designed for cable bundling and protection in automotive, industrial or custom wiring projects. The PET material resists fraying when cut with scissors.

Sustained temperature and abrasion resistance

The sleeving operates continuously from -70°C to +125°C without degrading. Its UL 94 V0 rating confirms flame-retardant behaviour under prolonged heat exposure. The tight braid maintains abrasion and cut-through protection throughout extended service life.

Nominal diameter .125 inch expandable to .25 inch

The critical specification is the nominal .125 inch diameter that expands to .25 inch for installation over connectors. This expansion ratio determines which wire bundles fit inside the sleeve. Buyers needing larger bundle coverage will need a different diameter.

Questions about this item

Does the PET braided sleeving generate heat or noise when it covers wires that run continuously?

The sleeving is passive PET material; it produces no heat or noise and simply protects wires from abrasion and chemicals.

What tools or accessories must I already have to install this expandable braided sleeving?

Only scissors are required — the fray-resistant PET cuts cleanly without a hot knife, so no special tool is needed.

Will the .125" nominal diameter sleeve fit over the older 0.25" maximum bundle cables I still use?

Yes, it expands to 150% of nominal size, covering bundles from 0.125" up to 0.25" diameter.
