HELLERMANN TYTON 309-60294 Heat Shrink Conduit 3/16" 4.8/2.4mm Black 50ft

Heat-shrink conduit for wire protection

HellermannTyton 309-60294 is a thin-wall polyolefin tubing that shrinks 2:1 from 4.8 mm to 2.4 mm. The black conduit comes on a 50 ft mini reel and carries UL 224 VW-1 flammability recognition. It suits technicians insulating and marking cables in automotive or industrial electrical work.

Suits installers needing flame-rated sleeve

The tubing resists common oils, chemicals and fluids while operating from -55 °C to +135 °C. It is not halogen-free, so buyers who require low-smoke zero-halogen material should look at alternative products. The thin 0.019 in wall also means it will not provide heavy mechanical armouring for harsh-abrasion zones.

Stable dimensions under continuous heat

Cross-linked polyolefin maintains its recovered 2.4 mm diameter after prolonged exposure at the upper 135 °C rating without cold-flow deformation. The VW-1 rating confirms the material self-extinguishes during sustained flame contact rather than only in brief bursts. Colour and wall thickness remain consistent throughout the full 50 ft length.
