HELLERMANN TYTON Braided Sleeving Expandable .5" PET Orange 500ft

Wire-cap connector sleeving

This expandable PET braided sleeving is supplied on a 500 ft bulk reel for protecting wire bundles in automotive and electrical work. The nominal half-inch diameter expands up to 150 percent to cover bundles from 0.25 to 0.75 inches. Bright orange colour gives immediate visual identification of critical circuits. It is suited for technicians who need long, continuous lengths for large harness jobs.

Temperature and flammability limits

The polyester material is rated for continuous operation from -70 °C to +120 °C and meets UL 94 V-0, FMVSS 302 and FAR 25 flammability standards. Halogen-free construction satisfies RoHS and REACH Article 33 requirements. These certifications define the environments where the sleeving can be installed safely. Installers working outside this temperature range or without these approvals must choose a different product.

Nominal half-inch diameter

The single specification that decides fit is the 0.5 inch nominal diameter with an expansion range of 0.25 to 0.75 inches. Bundles smaller than 0.25 inches will not be gripped securely, while bundles larger than 0.75 inches cannot be covered. Measure the finished harness before ordering to confirm it falls inside this window.
