Drive bay adapter for 2.5 or 3.5 drives

This silver enclosure converts a single 5.25 inch bay into a mount for one 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive. The aluminium body provides a rigid fit and helps dissipate heat during operation. It is intended for desktop builders adding storage to an existing front bay.

Suits builders with a free 5.25 bay

Not for systems lacking a 5.25 inch opening, nor for users needing to install multiple drives in one bracket. Buyers wanting tool-less trays, hot-swap function or a different colour should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this 5.25 inch cage hold both a 2.5 inch SSD and a 3.5 inch HDD at the same time?

The bracket accepts either a 2.5 inch or a 3.5 inch drive, not both simultaneously.

How can I confirm the drive is seated correctly once the cage is installed?

The drive should sit flush with the cage rails and the front panel should close without resistance.
