8-in-1 Internal Card Reader
The Hetai Tech front-panel unit adds SD, CF, TF, SDHC, MMC, SDXC and MD card slots to a desktop PC. It mounts in a standard drive bay and connects through USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and eSATA headers on the motherboard. The ABS housing fits a 14.7cm by 7.7cm by 4cm cut-out.
Sustained transfer through eSATA and USB 3.1
Large batches of RAW photos or video clips move at the host controller’s native rate without the throttling seen on USB 2.0 hubs. The internal wiring keeps signal paths short, so sequential writes hold steady across full card capacities. Thermal load stays low because the reader draws power only during active transfers.
Replaces single-slot readers and external dongles
Builders who now juggle multiple adapters gain one bay device that handles every common format. The jump is worth it when a workflow touches SD, CF and microSD cards in the same session. Users who only ever read one card type will not need the extra slots.

Questions about this item
How much heat or noise does the Hetai Tech 8-in-1 internal card reader produce when running all day?
The unit has no fan or moving parts, so it runs silently and adds negligible heat inside the case.
Which cables or headers must my motherboard already provide for the Hetai Tech 8-in-1 reader to work?
You need a free USB 3.0 or 3.1 internal header plus an eSATA port on the motherboard or add-in card.
Will the Hetai Tech 8-in-1 reader fit alongside my existing 5.25-inch optical drive?
The reader measures 14.7 cm x 7.7 cm x 4 cm, so check that your case has an adjacent 5.25-inch bay with that clearance.
