Portable 8-in-1 card reader
This compact 8-in-1 card reader connects via USB 2.0, Micro USB and USB Type-C so it works with computers and OTG-capable Android devices from version 4.0 upwards. It is aimed at photographers and mobile professionals who need to offload images, video or documents while travelling. No external power is required.
File-system constraint
The reader only supports the FAT32 file system and cannot read or write cards formatted with NTFS or exFAT. Cards larger than 64 GB or those pre-formatted with unsupported file systems will not be recognised. Re-formatting to FAT32 on a host computer restores compatibility.
Sustained transfer behaviour
Under continuous read or write loads the USB 2.0 interface limits throughput to its theoretical maximum, so large batches of photos or video files move at a steady but modest pace. The plastic housing has no active cooling, yet the low power draw keeps temperatures negligible during extended sessions.
