Dual-frequency RFID reader
The Hetai Tech JT303 reads both 125 kHz EM4100-series proximity cards and 13.56 MHz NFC tags, presenting each UID as keystrokes through a virtual USB keyboard interface. It requires no drivers or custom software on Windows, Linux, Android or iOS devices, making it a plug-and-play solution for access-control logging or time-and-attendance capture.
Sustained scanning behaviour
The module delivers a single UID read in roughly .2 seconds at distances up to 60 mm, and its Manchester 64-bit encoding keeps the data stream stable during repeated presentations. Power draw stays within the standard USB 5 V ±5 % envelope, so the reader remains responsive during long sessions without taxing laptop ports or tablet OTG adapters.
USB keyboard interface limits
Output is restricted to a 10-digit decimal string per card, transmitted at 9600 kbit/s over the virtual keyboard channel, so the host sees only plain numbers without protocol framing or encryption. The reader cannot write to tags, cannot parse NDEF records and will not work with phones that supply less than 5 V on their USB port.

Questions about this item
How much power does the JT303 draw when reading cards all day?
It runs from a standard DC 5 V supply with a ±5 % tolerance, so any USB port that delivers 5 V will keep it operating continuously.
What connector or adapter must I already have to plug this reader into my tablet?
The reader uses a Mini USB plug; tablets with USB-C or Lightning ports need a compatible OTG adapter or converter to connect.
Will the JT303 work alongside my older EM4100 proximity cards?
Yes — it reads EM4100, EM4200, EM4102, TK4100 and compatible 125 kHz tags, outputting a 10-digit decimal UID via USB keyboard emulation.
