U-Shaped 3.5mm Headset Splitter

This compact adapter converts a single 4-position 3.5mm combo audio port into separate 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks. It enables older headsets with dual plugs to work with modern laptops, tablets and phones that only provide one combined socket. The U-shaped housing keeps the cable tidy and reduces strain on the device port. Gold-plated contacts help maintain a reliable signal path.

Dual 3.5mm Ports for Headset and Mic

The splitter provides one dedicated headphone output and one dedicated microphone input, each accepting a standard 3.5mm plug. It comfortably handles stereo headphones and a mono microphone for calls, gaming or recording. The adapter is passive, so it draws no power and adds no latency, but it cannot amplify a weak microphone signal or drive high-impedance headphones beyond the source device's capability.

4-Position 3.5mm Combo Jack Interface

The product relies on the source device having a 4-position 3.5mm jack wired to the CTIA standard for combined audio and microphone signals. Devices that use the older OMTP wiring or lack a combo port will not work correctly with this splitter. It also cannot split a single stereo output into two independent headphone feeds, as both ports serve different signal directions.
