USB OTG Adapter for Mobile Devices

The Hetai Tech USB OTG adapter adds USB On-The-Go support to phones and tablets equipped with a Micro USB port. It lets you connect standard USB peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards, mice or card readers directly to the mobile device. A built-in switch toggles between OTG data mode and a charge-only mode for the host device. The adapter is lightweight and designed for portable use.

Suits OTG-capable tablets and phones.

This adapter works with tablets and smartphones that explicitly support USB OTG, including models such as the Dell Venue 8 Pro, Galaxy Tab series, Note 4 10.1, S5 and Nexus 7 or 10. It allows two USB 2.0 devices to operate simultaneously. Devices without OTG support cannot use the data function, and the female ports cannot supply power to attached hard drives.

Micro USB male to dual USB 2.0 female

The connector layout is a single Micro USB male plug leading to two USB 2.0 Type-A female ports. A physical slide switch selects Charge position, which enables host charging but disables OTG, or OTG position, which enables peripheral data access but stops host charging. This single specification determines whether the adapter matches the user's charging and data needs.

Questions about this item

Does the Micro USB plug on this adapter fit directly into my tablet's port without an extra cable?

Yes, the single Micro USB male connector plugs straight into the tablet or phone; no separate cable is required.

How do I switch between charging my phone and using a flash drive on the two USB 2.0 female ports?

Slide the physical switch to "Charge" to power the device, or to "OTG" to enable data on both female ports; the two modes cannot work at the same time.

Will the female USB port marked for the hub ever need a separate power supply if I connect a keyboard and mouse together?

The hub female port only powers the hub itself; it cannot charge connected peripherals, so a keyboard and mouse draw power from the host device in OTG mode.
