HGST TravelStar Z5K750 500GB 5400 RPM Drive

This 2.5 inch internal hard drive provides 500GB of storage for laptops or compact desktops. It spins at 5400 RPM with an 8MB cache and connects via SATA. The unit is sold as used and tested working after a DoD 5220.22 M compliant erase.

SATA Interface and 2.5 Inch Form Factor

The SATA connection fits standard laptop bays and desktop brackets without adapters. A DoD 5220.22 M compliant erase was performed so the drive arrives with no previous data or partitions. Retail or OEM packaging may vary and the drive is not formatted.

Up To 25 Bad Sectors Possible

The supplier notes that some units may have up to 25 bad sectors and may show cosmetic markings or writing. Buyers who require a pristine media surface with zero defects should consider a different drive. The drive is tested functional but not allocated or partitioned.
