Compact 60% layout for desk space

The HHKB Professional HYBRID Type-S uses a 60 percent form factor measuring 11.6" x 4.7" x 1.6". It removes the function row, navigation cluster and numeric keypad to keep the home row centred. Topre silent capacitive switches provide tactile feedback with reduced noise. PBT keycaps with sublimation legends resist shine and fading.

Upgrade from full-size or noisy mechanical boards

Users moving from a full-size keyboard reclaim desk width for mouse movement. The silent Topre switches replace louder clicky or tactile mechanical switches without losing tactility. The jump is worth it when a quieter typing experience and a smaller footprint matter more than dedicated arrow or function keys.

USB-C wired or Bluetooth multi-device

A USB Type-C cable supplies wired connectivity and charges the board. Bluetooth pairs with up to four devices across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS for instant switching. Two AA batteries power wireless use. The compact frame needs no palm rest and fits shallow desks or tight carry bags.
