Compact 60 percent layout

The HHKB Professional HYBRID Type-S is a compact 60 percent mechanical keyboard aimed at programmers, writers and gamers who want a minimal desk footprint without sacrificing tactile feedback. Its near-symmetrical design keeps fingers on the home row for extended sessions.

Topre Silent Capacitive switches

The defining specification is the Topre Silent Capacitive switch, which uses electrostatic capacitive sensing to deliver a quiet, tactile keystroke with no key chatter. This mechanism sets the board apart from conventional mechanical switches and determines whether the typing feel matches your preference.

USB-C wired or Bluetooth to four devices

Connectivity is handled by a USB Type-C cable or Bluetooth pairing with up to four host devices across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS. The board draws power from two AA batteries when wireless, freeing a USB port and eliminating the need for a dedicated receiver. PBT keycaps with sublimation legends resist shine and fading over time.

What does the USB Type-C interface provide for connectivity?

USB Type-C handles wired data and charging while the keyboard also supports Bluetooth pairing with up to four devices for wireless switching.

Will the 11.6 by 4.7 by 1.6 inch dimensions fit on a small desk?

Yes, the compact footprint takes up minimal desk space and the low 1.6 inch profile fits under most monitor stands or laptop risers.
