HHKB Dandelion Topre keycap set

The HHKB Dandelion set provides 60 dye-sub PBT keycaps made by Topre for HHKB Professional Topre keyboards. The exclusive Topre fit means the caps mount directly on Topre stems without adapters. A matching Topre puller and instruction manual are included in the single limited run.

Thermals noise and power

Keycaps add no active components, so they generate no heat, produce no noise and draw no power. The PBT material resists shine and keeps its texture through extended typing sessions. No cooling or power budget considerations apply.

Upgrade path and fit

This set replaces the stock legends on any HHKB Professional Topre board with the Dandelion colourway. It is not compatible with MX-stem switches, so builders using standard mechanical keyboards cannot use it. The jump is worthwhile for Topre owners wanting a complete, factory-matched refresh in one purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install these keycaps on my HHKB Professional and which step do people often miss?

Remove the original caps with the included Topre puller, press each Dandelion cap straight onto the Topre stems, and remember to reinstall the space-bar stabiliser wire before seating the space bar.

What maintenance or replacement will this 60-key Dye Sub PBT set need over time?

The dye-sublimated legends resist wear, so only occasional cleaning with a keycap puller and mild soap is required; no legend replacement is expected.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy typing on these Topre-specific caps?

The PBT material handles heat and oils well, so the first practical limit is the Topre switch fatigue life, not the keycaps themselves.
