Fargo YMCKO ribbon cartridge with cleaning roller

The HID Global 045100 is a full-colour printer ribbon designed for compatible Fargo card printers. It supplies yellow, magenta, cyan and resin black panels plus a clear overlay for single-sided or dual-sided card production.

Practical limit is the fixed panel sequence

Each cartridge prints a predetermined number of cards before replacement is required. The resin black panel handles sharp text and barcodes while the overlay protects the finished image, but the ribbon cannot be refilled or used in non-Fargo hardware.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 045100 YMCKO ribbon or a different Fargo cartridge for full-colour ID cards?

The 045100 is a YMCKO cartridge that prints full-colour images, resin black text and a clear overlay, plus it includes a cleaning roller. Pick this one when your design needs both photographic colour and sharp black barcodes or text on the same card.

What does YMCKO mean for the cards coming out of my Fargo printer?

Each panel prints yellow, magenta, cyan and black in full colour, then the O panel adds a protective clear overlay. The separate resin black panel gives crisp barcodes and fine text that dye-based black cannot match.
