Ergonomic zinc garlic press

The HiramWare DGMT-4836-SBN is a 17 cm zinc-alloy garlic press built for home cooks who want quick, consistent mincing without knife work. Its ergonomic handle suits everyday meal preparation and reduces hand strain during repetitive use.

Rust-free material and dishwasher cleaning

Solid zinc construction resists corrosion and survives repeated dishwasher cycles without degradation. The non-stick surface releases garlic and ginger cleanly, so a rinse or machine wash restores it to ready condition.

Replaces knife mincing and small presses

This tool upgrades from manual chopping or low-capacity crushers by pressing peeled or unpeeled cloves in one motion. The jump is worth it when you regularly process multiple cloves and want less waste, less mess and faster prep.

Questions about this item

How do I load garlic into the 17 cm press and what step do people often miss?

Place peeled or unpeeled cloves in the chamber, close the handles fully, and squeeze; the step many miss is not clearing the minced garlic from the holes before adding the next batch.

What part of the zinc alloy press will need attention or replacement over time?

The hinge pin and the perforation plate see the most wear; if the pin loosens or holes deform, the whole unit is typically replaced rather than repaired.

What limit appears first when pressing large batches continuously?

The medium-capacity chamber fills quickly, so you must empty the minced garlic and rinse the holes every few cloves to maintain pressing force.
