Hiseeu 12V 1A Power Adapter

The Hiseeu power adapter converts AC 100-240V mains voltage to a regulated DC 12V 1A output. It is designed for devices that require a 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector and draw up to 1000mA.

1.5 metre cord and safety protections

A 1.5 metre DC cable provides flexibility for positioning security cameras, routers or LED strip lights. Built-in safeguards include short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage and high-temperature protection. The unit carries FCC, cUL, RoHS and WEEE certifications.

5.5mm x 2.1mm connector polarity

The centre-positive 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug must match the device socket exactly; a different inner diameter or polarity will prevent operation. Verify the required connector size and voltage before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC connector wear out and need replacing?

The barrel connector is a standard passive part; it does not degrade electrically, but repeated plugging can loosen the fit over years of use.

What stops the adapter from delivering its full 1 A continuously?

Built-in over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and high-temperature protections will shut the output down before the 1 A limit is exceeded.

How warm does the 12 V 1 A brick get when left running 24 hours?

The high-temperature protection circuit limits case heat; under normal load the adapter stays warm but within safe operating limits.
