36 GB Ultra320 SCSI hard drive with 80-pin connector, 15,000 RPM speed and 1.0-inch low-profile 3.5-inch form factor
This new Hitachi Ultrastar hard disk drive provides 36GB of storage on a 3.5 inch low-profile form factor measuring 1.0 inch in height. It spins at 15000 RPM and connects via an Ultra320 80-pin SCSI interface for direct integration into compatible enterprise storage enclosures and servers.
This drive fits systems designed for the Ultra320 80-pin SCSI standard and the 1.0 inch low-profile 3.5 inch bay. It does not suit builds that require a different interface connector, a taller drive form factor, or a storage capacity larger than 36GB.
Measured against everything we stock in Switch Modules, Transceivers & Add-Ons, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The drive is built to the 3.5 inch form factor with a 1.0 inch low-profile height, so it occupies a single low-profile bay in compatible enclosures.
Align the 80-pin SCA connector squarely with the backplane socket and press straight in until the drive seats firmly; forcing it at an angle is the step that bends pins.
