Hitoor AC1300 USB 3.0 Adapter for Desktops

This USB Wi-Fi 5 adapter adds dual-band wireless connectivity to desktop PCs and laptops. It targets users whose built-in wireless is missing, broken or too slow for daily tasks. The compact black dongle supports Windows 11 down to XP and Mac OS 10.9 through 10.15.

Upgrade from Single-Band or USB 2.0 Adapters

The jump is worth it when you need 5 GHz throughput up to 867 Mbps or 2.4 GHz up to 400 Mbps for streaming and video calls. Two adjustable 5 dBi antennas improve signal stability through walls. USB 3.0 interface avoids the bottleneck of older USB 2.0 wireless dongles.

Check USB Port Version and Driver Needs

Verify your system has a free USB 3.0 port for full speed; USB 2.0 ports will limit throughput. Windows 10 and 11 work plug-and-play while older Windows versions and Mac OS 10.9 to 10.15 require the supplied driver CD or download. Ensure antenna clearance for the 40 to 60 degree tilt recommendation.

Questions about this item

How much space does the adapter with its two 5dBi antennas need behind my PC?

The dongle itself measures 3.13" long, 1.18" wide and .5" high; each antenna pivots so you can angle them 40 to 60 degrees to clear neighbouring ports.

Which driver step is required on Windows 7 or Mac 10.9 through 10.15?

Run the setup program from the included CD before plugging the adapter in; Windows 10 and 11 install the driver automatically.

When should I clean the dual-sided heat-dissipation holes?

Blow dust out of the vents every few months or whenever the adapter feels unusually warm to keep throughput stable.
